PHILOSOPHY
Magnolia Bible College is committed to the
Bible as the only authoritative statement of God's word.
Therefore, the Bible occupies the position of prominence in
every program of study. Apart from this emphasis, the
college would have no valid reason to exist.
The Bible college seeks to instill in the heart of each
student the fervent desire to be a minister of Christ,
whether in the public forum or through daily involvement in
society. Every student majors in Bible. Both male and
female students can increase their skills in various
avenues of daily Christian service. Men, in particular,
find here a depth of training to enable them to serve
effectively as preachers and church leaders.
General education courses are considered essential to give
the student a well-balanced education and an appreciation
of the world that God made. The Christian worker must be
able to speak as an educated person to educated people.
Because every student is a Bible major, every course is
taught with the needs of the Bible major and Christian
worker in mind. However, the value of such courses depends
on their being taught as an independent discipline.
To demand less than excellence here would be less than
Christian. Magnolia Bible College's philosophy of education
is implemented by the integration of these essential
elements: Classroom instruction, practical application in
the field, and the daily association of students with a
dedicated and godly staff.
