ACADEMICS
Hello,
I am John Gardner, Academic Dean, at Magnolia Bible
College. It has been my privilege to serve MBC in this role
since 2001. Before entering Christian higher education, I
was in full time local ministry for 35 years with churches
of Christ in Kentucky, Mississippi, and Texas.
I sincerely believe in local church ministry. I also
believe that a solid preparation in academics and
practical, supervised ministry experiences can grow great
preachers for local ministry. The reason I left full time
local ministry and came to MBC was to help those who want
to become the best ministers and Christian workers
possible.
Take time to check out what Magnolia has to offer in both
academic and practical courses. Consider the highly
qualified faculty who have years of real ministry
experience. Look at the reasonable requirements for
Magnolia's B.A. in Bible and the B.Th. for those who
already have a bachelor's degree in some discipline. We
believe that MBC will the place you want to equip yourself
for greater service to Jesus Christ.
