Library Director
Magnolia Bible College is
seeking the services of a qualified Library Director for
the Paul and Philip Gaunt Library located on its campus.
Located on a beautiful campus in Central Mississippi, MBC
is a Christian college dedicated to preparing students for
ministry by offering a Bible-focused, well-rounded
education. Her mission is to "enable students to acquire a
college level education in general and biblical studies
which will enable them to serve as preachers of the gospel.
Secondary responsibilities include continuing general and
biblical education and training of church workers and
citizens of the community."
Magnolia Bible College is accredited by the Commission on
Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and
Schools (1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, GA 30033-4097) to
offer a baccalaureate degree. MBC holds affiliate status
with the Association of Biblical Higher Education (5575 S.
Semoran Blvd., Ste. 26, Orlando, FL 32822-1781).
Among other features, the Paul and Philip Gaunt Library has
about 30,000 holdings, updated computer resources, and an
electronic card catalog system.
The successful candidate for Library Director will have a
MLS degree or equivalent which is recognized by the ALA.
Experience in library management is a plus. He or she must
be committed to the Restoration principles which are
foundational to the purpose of the college.

An opening also exists for an Interim Library Director
until a permanent Library Director can be hired. Candidates
for the interim position should specify an interest in the
