Position to be filled
Deadline October 2008. Westend participates in the North Point Prison Ministry, Charleston House Nursing Home Ministry, pantry ministry , partial support to Cambodian Ministry and various other situations of need in the area.

Danville, Kentucky is in the central part of Kentucky. The population of Danville is approximately 16,000 and Boyle County population is approximately 28,000. Centre College is located in Danville. Boyle county and surrounding counties played an important part in the beginning of the state of Kentucky over 200 years ago.

Requirements
Preferred minister with young family, sound Bible scholar, and some prior preaching experience preferred, but not necessary. Experience in all aspects of ministry would be helpful but not necessary. An outgoing personality with a humble spirit. The ideal minister will work well with the young adults and families.

Compensation: to be determined based upon candidate qualifications.

Comments
The congregation is blessed with 5 elders to lead the flock. The congregation has a good age mix and is a very loving and friendly congregation.
